Book Review:"The Coming Storm" By Nora Roberts
What are you willing to risk for love?
That's the ultimate question posed here upon these characters created by the fab Nora Roberts.
The answer may not be so easily obtained as we adventure in and out of their lives as tragedy strikes and Charity is left wondering about Roman's intentions.
Roman is an undercover FBI agent assigned to this criminal gang activity that may be operating out of this quaint secluded Whale Watch Inn on Orcas Island.
In the second story we embark on a slightly different scenario with the art of deception from a previously published work.
As Adam seeks a private place to paint he stumbles upon Kirby's ancestral home.
The chemistry is apparent but when Adam acts differently Kirby suspects something is off.
What's the real purpose at her father's home?
Otherwise, she may be in danger of falling for a stranger whose skilled in the fine art of deception and trickery.
Oh, the tangled webs woven are truly splendid and the writing is on the wall.
The Coming Storm was good for me but not great. I've read a number of Nora's writings and I sadly didn't enjoy this as much as the others.
However, variety is the spice of life -so check it out and let me know what you think.
