Book Review: "The Perfect Couple" By Jackie Kabler

A whirl wind romance turns into one of two things: Either it's love at first sight or it's a disaster waiting to happen.

The Perfect Couple on the outside looks appealing but on the inside is crumbling at the seams.

Gemmy and Danny look great together until one day he's nowhere to be found.
Did he play her for a fool?

Is he using her to advance his own agenda?

Is he hurt and in need of help?

Frightened she turns to the Bristol P.D. only to uncover a serial killer is on the loose and the victims look like Danny.

The tables then turn as most victims have a connection and they begin to question her knowledge and whereabouts to this missing person case.

This is a story of two halves.

Which half you choose is up to you.

I say this because so often people want to believe the truth so bad they ignore the lies.
"We let him carry on and we did nothing."

This statement shows the desperation and the love behind the mask and web of lies.
The fact that he cheated may just be the tip of this iceberg as much more lies beneath that isn't yet known.

Danny may not have noted his past and it's scary to think he kept so much hidden especially concerning his own family.

This story will chill you to the bone.

It's a story of violence, misfortunes, condemnations but also of strengths, resurrections, and the will to survive at all costs.

I can't imagine the horror but I can imagine the pain.

Gemma really does have a story to tell as well and she does well in staying in her lane and keeping her faith alive.

Jackie Kabler -you have written a thriller beyond words!

Thank you for this wild ride that had me on edge the whole way through.

From start to finish this book did not let up nor did it give out too much detail.

The proof is in the pudding as they say and this one is thick, rich, and deliciously disturbing!

Loved it all!!
