Book Review: "Last Day" By Luanne Rice

Detective for the day is a neat way to start off in this new one by Luanne Rice.

It's packed full of interesting turns as we uncover a death, a mystery surrounding a painting, a story full of secrets with a artist and in the end so many skeletons in the closet.

I love when a book can dive right in and set the pace from the start and this one accomplished that task nicely.

It flowed perfectly from one idea to the next and was never lost in thought.
Kate's sis Beth is the main power point presentation here with several suspects but not many clues.

We as readers traverse from one affair to another in which nobody is truly out of the loop.
Dreaming is brought into play with ideas questioning everyone's interactions with Beth upon her final days.

Children are also at play here along with the notion that everyone wants to love and be loved.

The connection is magical and perhaps you only have to "LOOK UP" to see the STARS SHINING UPON THEM.

I got carried away on that last one, but the ending proves you just never know..
What a great way to kick back on this yucky mixed precipitation day. Crack this one open you won't regret you did.

Thank you to Luanne Rice, the publisher, and NetGalley for this exclusive ARC in exchange for this honest review.
