Book Review: "The Summer House" By Lauren K. Denton

That down home Southern Alabama comfort with likeable characters and a fab plot.

The Welcome Mat is out and the local retirement community is about to embark on a new journey with Rose and Lily as soulful women who refuse to give up on life, love, family, friends and a bright optimistic future.

Lily is on the verge of divorce and takes on a new job prospect as a salon stylist in this quiet community.

This job prospect leads her to the home of Rose who welcomes her in and offers her more than just a new start on life.

The reason it's getting hot isn't the Southern weather but the nephew named Rawlins.

However, there's a rumble strip or two on the horizon and they'll have to work out their grievances if they want to sail off into the sunset.

Can Lily and Rawlins find happiness?

Will there be more to this story than job prospects and new friendships?

Can a retirement community truly be the place for finding love?

What a gentle breeze of happiness with this one...

Perfect for today's sunny weekend blue skies and birds chirping on the verge of spring weather here in PA!
