Book Review: "Last Chance Summer" By Shannon Klare

Imagine the pressure of being the sheriff's daughter in a small town.

Now, imagine that same daughter with a hidden secret so troubling that it's taken years to overcome.

Alex had a best friend until a tragic end took her life.

She was shipped off to summer camp in hopes of a renewal as camp counselor.
Camp is where she meets up with her rival turned friend turned confidante and co- counselor named Grant.

Grant also has a troubled past which helps in the ultimate support of each other once they get beyond their differences.

I love the way this originated with both fighting their past and healing their wounds.

Revisiting the spot where it all happened that one fateful night was so disheartening yet showed the characters growth and maturity.

This was truly a wonderful read that I had the pleasure of receiving this gifted copy via the author through Instagram giveaway.

I highly recommend this read for all ages!
