Book Review: "Start By Believing" By John Barr and Dan Murphy

One of the largest sexual abuse cases in history will forever be etched in the mind of those who stood back and allowed it to happen.

The wheels of justice may be slow to turn but the wheels do eventually turn and when they do the world watches and prays that justice is served.

In this case, this man should've done more than serve jail time as he should've been dealt a harsher sentence for the over 140 lives he's affected.

These women are more than just courageous as they're a beacon of hope for others to go forth and not be afraid to speak their truths.

Sexual abuse and crimes of similar nature are not there fault. They put their faith and trust in a man who betrayed their trust both professionally and personally.

Mr. Nassar sadly was not alone in that undertaking. Many more could've spoke out, could've done more to help these young ladies, yet they took money and power over morals and truths.

I'm not sure where the world has gone so horribly wrong that when young ladies tell you something is wrong we turn a blind eye and make excuses because the man is in a position of authority or is well liked in his community.

Monsters do not come disguised as monsters. They are ordinary people of all ages, races, color, creeds, and backgrounds.

This should be a wake up call and abuse of any kind will never be tolerated.
I pray these women find healing and rebuild their lives.

They are warriors and I applaud them all for going up against a community who shunned them and refused to help.

May they all take note the #MeToo movement is here to stay.

Powerful women are here to stay!

Educated women know truths and won't stay silent!
Believe!
