Book Review: "Best Behavior" By Wendy Francis

Empty Nester Syndrome? Jealousy? Revenge? Perfectly flawed and Beautifully Broken?
Well I'll tell you this had a mix of everything to keep readers intrigued from start to finish.
Easy read, quick pages, lovely characters that are relatable, and a host of issues that need more than simply attention but perhaps a bit of reflection.

You know it's often said we grow from our hardships and that may be true but divorce is never easy and certainly not upon kids much less twins.

Twins share more than just a unique bonds but now they must also share a stepmother.
This can't possibly end well can it?

The twins are graduating college and are about to make their mark in the world but not without some drama in their family.

It's a loyalty issue but also a careful boundary issue in which the twins are in the middle of two parents that aren't the best negotiators or communicators.

After all it was Roger the ex spouse who cheated on Meredith and she may still feel jilted.
However, she too has a new husband Joel who sees a familiar face while the twins Cody and Dawn are with their own issues.

Meanwhile, Lily the step mom is in need of something far worse than just attention because she's setting herself up for disaster.

Sometimes the best behavior takes a back seat to brutal honesty and emotions are certainly running high.

The ending was just bloody brilliant --and the plot has plenty of meat and substance--which led to a perfect 5 star review.

Thank you Wendy Francis, the pub, and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
