Book Review: "Survival Instincts" By Jen Waite

When inner demons come crawling out of the woodwork while being one step away from near perfect disaster.

You know people have a great habit of asking -What were you thinking- after a toxic relationship yet they fail to realize and recognize that warning signs exist but many are love bombed and gaslighted to an extent that renders them sitting ducks.

It's this type of scenario in which we have an early college romance, a cabin, a stalking of sorts, and a tragedy in the making that keeps readers intrigued.

I dare say- Thea the daughter is also involved but to the extent only the author knows until the end.

Now it's always a situation about taking away power and control and with such comes isolation and the inability to save oneself.

What better location than a cabin in complete remoteness with very little comforts of home.
I won't go into too much detail but suffice to say this was a great read.
