Book Review: "The River Murders" By James Patterson

A Navy seal dropout. More than a few men on the run or shall we say in 'hiding.' A young cousin MIA!

Well, if not for plenty of action I would be at a loss here on this one.
It started off ok with Mitchum's 14 yo cousin going missing and his brother 'Natty' being subjected to questioning as a 'shady drug dealer.'

If that wasn't enough we jump to Mitchum's current job as a PI investigating a few other cases.

While on the run you can say he decides to head out of the country to track down a suspect.

I suppose staging his family members fueled his desire to seek justice but the ending was offensive and the plot wasn't fulfilling as hoped.

All in all not bad but the whole plot with Afghanistan and the adventure there along with those locked up and left behind in 'hidden' locations wasn't really cutting it for me.

I won't go into much else but suffice to say, "good" not "great."
