Book Review: "Within These Lines" by Stephanie Morrill

Interracial marriages during a time in American History of great turmoil and hardships.

A powerful story with tenacious characters that refuse to give up on love.
Overcoming obstacles while dealing with injustices and keeping the faith that reunification was possible.

The Anti Japanese sentiment was heartbreaking with every emotion being worn on the sleeve.

Evalina and Taichi had to find a way or make one after his family was forced to move to an internment camp.

Having lost touch they would correspond through letters that connected the desire for freedom to the power and will to live.

Absolutely a beautiful showcase of love amidst chaos!
Highly recommend!
