"If there’s one trait that makes someone well suited to comedy, it’s being able to take a punch—metaphorically and, occasionally, physically."
Colin Jost is not a legend in my book but he's an interesting topic in my home as the SNL comedy guy so why not read about his life, times, passions, interests, but also his hardships, struggles, and the tenacity to get back up.
This is well written with a sense of humility, compassion, and empathy that's often missing in works by various authors today.
It's not just about seeing yourself in others but in the ability to help and serve by telling your story in the hopes of it becoming a beacon of hope and a healing authority of power.
This book does both as it addresses the hardships of a variety of common issues while enforcing all that's good and right in the world with humor.
Thank you to Bibliotheca for this e-read copy in exchange for this honest review.
