"She has a dangerous gift. And they’ll stop at nothing to take it."
In this case, this book didn't stand well alone and since it's the third in the series that back draft of information would be crucial and helpful to connect on a more personal level.
The written story was good but without that basic premise and level of understanding the characters fell flat without the knowledge to hold them up.
For me I enjoyed the thrill of the chase in which the hunter became the hunted but I felt that crucial parts were missing and couldn't quite join in on the excitement that this book warrants from readers.
It was a good read but just needed a bit more back history for it.
Thank you to Adam, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
