Book Review: "All The Devils Are Here" By Louise Penny

“Life can be cruel, as you know. But it can also be kind. Filled with wonders. You need to remember that. You have your own choice to make, Armand. What’re you going to focus on? What’s unfair, or all the wonderful things that happen? Both are true, both are real. Both need to be accepted. But which carries more weight with you?” Stephen tapped the boy’s chest. “The terrible or the wonderful? The goodness or the cruelty? Your life will be decided by that choice.” — Louise Penny

It's a family gathering that results in the godfather being struck and nearly killed.
This was no accident as Stephen is now in a coma and fighting for his life which leads many to believe he was targeted but by whom?

Jean Guy is on the case while we also get a glimpse into his personal life and connection with his own son Daniel.

Which is crucial since Daniel seems to hold a grudge against Armand Gamache but the reasons are not crystal clear.

It's this enticing character portrayal and immediate tension that engulfs readers to continue forward with passion and intensity.

Stephen's background is front and center and the background stories are full of new developments that may help solve this harrowing tale.

The details as laid out by Louise Penny are spectacular and maintain readers interests from start to finish.

I hope you can capture a copy and enjoy!
