Book Review: "American Royals" By Katharine McGee

What if America had a royal family?

Are we ready for a queen?

“That was the thing about success, it could be even more draining than failure.”

― Katharine McGee, American Royals

Since the second of the series (Majesty) is now upon us -I decided the best thing to do would to quickly read up on the first in this series -having heard so much about it.

I was quickly shuttered away into a family that has Beatrice at the head of the table ready to accept the throne.

She's a dutiful daughter, she tends to the needs of others, but she neglects her own love interest.

Her arranged marriage is convenient but nothing in it satisfies her like Connor does.

Her siblings also face the music but in different segments and categories.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice's dad has a sudden health issue and she wonders if it's related to her finally speaking out about what she wants and needs.

Her intentions to marry a commoner may not have sat well but it's a matter of the heart and not the throne.

Love is in the air and the American Royals will entice, enhance, and envelope you into a warm snuggie full of commaderie and companionship,

Loved it all.
