Book Review: "Democracy in One Book" By David Litt

Unless you're living under a rock you realize the importance of such a book like David Litt's.

What you may not realize is just how valuable it's in saving our democracy, our supreme courts, our constitution, our voting rights, and so much more.

This book addressed all those concerns from the back story history to the present, what has changed, what hasn't and most importantly what needs to be altered and or fixed.

It's a true representation of just how far some will go to re-arrange the makeup to create the perfect storm while appealing to their own base and constituents.

While this is nothing new what is important is that we must stay vigilant, productive, and active because by not voting or by dismissing the actions of others we allow it to continue.

From gerrymandering, to setting up the Supreme Court, to altering the status and dismissing signatures of voters -we must take a stand and we must vote!

We still hold the power and we can say NO MORE!

This is not who we are as a nation, this will never be the new norm, and this insanity must end.

VOTE BLUE!

Thank you to my local library for this fab read and please support your local libraries.
