“I think it was then I realized it was true—a lot of the friends you have in high school will be friends you’ll never see again. The only thing keeping you together is a giant building. Once you’re out of that building, the invisible binds snap, and you’re set free.”
― Avery Bishop, Girl Gone Mad
With this noted, there's now two suicides within this Harpy (popular group) and everyone starts to wonder about the coincidence.
What we forget to note is that Emily may be a therapist now but she was a bully then and it was under her watch that a new gal in town was killed...or ....
What we can note emphatically is that something crazy is going on..Emily may be going loco...and now she believes Grace may be alive and stalking her.
OMG!
Can sticks and stones can break your bones but will words hurt you?
Well, leave it up to the harpies to find out as Grace Farmer may be more than just a victim here and Emily Bennett may be the savior ...or not.
The only thing I didn't like was the ending on this one but otherwise it was a cat and mouse till the end.
Thank you to Avery, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
