Book Review: "Mum & Dad" By Joanna Trollope

When life catches up to you and nips you right in the bud...

For this married couple of three kids it was anything but a walk in the park. Now the husband has had a stroke and the adult kids must come to his aid and assist but will they?

The three kids Katie, Jack, and Sebastian have a whole host of their own melodramas to work out so it's not a surprise when this sudden revelation puts a kink in their plans.

Not to mention half the family is in Spain while the other half is in London which makes communicating that much more strained.

The difficulty with this one was the lack of insight, connection, and appeal. It felt like nobody truly cared and it was going through the motions but not really going anywhere.

It was a good-solid read!

Thank you to Bibliotheca for another e-read book.
