Book Review: "Little Disasters" By Sarah Vaughan

One of my biggest pet peeves I see today is jumping to conclusions without having all the facts and it bothers me daily.

I've witnessed scenarios similar to this play out in both personal and professional scenarios and it's downright frightening because lives are at risk, upended, and destroyed for the sake of 'gossip', 'smear campaigns', and 'retaliation.'

This had all the dockets for one smooth ride but it became bumpy midstream as we uncover that child abuse is at the heart of the matter.

Liz is a pediatrician working on duty when Jess comes in with her daughter Betsey Curtis who is severely injured with a severe skull fracture.

Not quite a bruise as it's imperative the information and transparency get moving together but should Liz reach out when she's unsure of the facts?

What if she gets it all wrong? What if it truly was a mere accident?

The plot thickens the longer we back track into the family, friends, and prior relationships especially among siblings.

Jess is more than just a single mom she's a broken down woman holding in her emotions for years.

What many don't realize is she may also be in jeopardy of a nervous breakdown or worse as the clock ticks and the bullying ratchets up.

What if she's the victim of threats, intimidation, and or fear?

What if she's silent because of force not because of guilt?

OMG!!

This was the edge of the seat thriller I needed and it didn't disappoint.

Thank you to Bibliotheca for this e-read with Atria publishing (who has recently declined nearly every single NetGalley request with 94%feedback).

It's all good as the Atria Love Fest has arrived and is here to stay.
When they go low -you go high!

God Bless
