Book Review: "Magic Lessons" By Alice Hoffman

Words were magic!

Maria was accused of witchery with her own daughter Faith in tow.

Love was complicated.

However, when she was given up by her birth mom she was taken in by Hannah and taught a lesson, "Always love someone who will love you back."

This led her on a voyage literally aboard a ship without powers to a man whom if she opened herself up may have been able to assist her.

Samuel Dias was a man of many talents one of which may just be in saving others.

Hanging day is not something I'd expected to be reading about nor black crows and for Faith she believes he may have saved more than just her mom that day.

It's a deeply emotional read that's dark and gothic -perfect for those who love magical realism, fantasy, paranormal realm genre.

Thank you to Alice Hoffman, NetGalley, the publisher Simon Schuster and Amazon Kindle for this wonderful new ARC in exchange for this honest review.

This book baby will be coming out soon -October 6th 2020- so get a copy when you can!
