Book Review: "The Forever Home" By Sue Watson

Hold on tight, buckle up baby, the rides about to begin with Sue Watson leading us to an epic thriller!

Folks, this ain't your momma's days of June Cleaver who waits for things to come to her, while baking that cake, while cleaning house.

Oh, no...My loves this is about to go down with some heart pounding action that you'll never see coming, never find fault with nor ever blame the victim again.

In fact, you might be hard pressed to determine just who the victim is in this story.
Should we feel empathy for the spouse who felt he deserved more than what he received so he went outside the marriage to sow his wild oats?

Should we feel empathy for the wife who sure as the frosty glass kept things chilled until her time came and then put baking soda to vinegar to shoot off like a volcano erupting out of control?

Should we feel empathy for the two kids from this 25 year marriage and in fact the third child from a different set of circumstances thrown in this toxic mixture?

Well, let me tell you 25 years is quite the milestone and who could fault anyone here...
Except, if you're unhappy why not divorce? Why not sign on the dotted line and be off to your merry little ways.

Could there be more...oh, yes my friends there's always more to the story than meets the eye.

In this case, we have a marriage that was built on the rocks literally and figuratively overlooking the beautiful see with two gorgeous kids to accompany this homestead and picture perfect lifestyle.

Until, it was uprooted and Carly uncovered a secret. At first she thought it was an affair with a friend. Oh, dear!

No, wait- it's not the close friend , but the friend's....OMG!
Get his shiite and toss it out...this ain't happening.
It can't be...

Well, now that's a shocker but that's not the only shocker because the little crap is now expecting more than just a wedding ring on her finger.

Oh, for the love of ....

How could this happen so suddenly behind Carly's back to boot but perhaps she's got her own plans and her own secrets.

In fact her own son might want to say a few words right after Mark settles himself which may take some time...in fact it might take till eternity at this rate and for good reason.
Now, don't get your pants in a tizzy this goes down like a ball of flames, it's hot, it's sizzling, it's a scorcher and it's like right out of the oven and into the fire- real drama!

You won't want to miss this because a woman scorned plus a son who keeps his momma safe -well, ain't no tellin' what might happen in the end.

Suffice to say, you'll want to stay tuned because that ending was the bomb!

Thank you to Sue Watson, Bookouture, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for keeping this Top 25 USA Reviewer at Goodreads entertained.

Till we meet again and I hope it's soon as I love Sue Watson's creations.
