Book Review: "The Playdate" By Victoria Jenkins

You know that the saying- objects in mirror are closer than they appear. Well what would you think if I told you that some toxic individuals are extremely dangerous even more than anyone could imagine?

Monsters don't come dressed up. Their not seen with horns. Yet, the devil is always in disguise.

Please don't turn your back.... You never know who might stab you.
Ok, well not to freak you out but this book has me on edge. It's creepy. Stalker-ish. Downright NASTY!

The adrenaline is coursing through my veins and hasn't stopped since I picked this kindle up.
OMG!!

What the hell did I just read!

Bloody Brilliant! What more can I say!

Playdates apparently aren't what they used to be but then again my three kids are older teens.

Dani- girl we got to talk-stat!

Why are you being blamed for all this craziness that surrounds you like a bad cloud? It seems danger follows you and strikes like lighting.

Adele- mom #2 - but did anyone ever wonder what kind of 'mom' you really are?
Take care of Ivy because she's only 20 months. Will you also watch over Layla as she's only 2 years old.

There's so much in this that makes your heart skip a beat. The characters will have the hairs on your head standing on alert.

If triggers bother you please note: Suicide, physical abuse, alcoholism, physical violence and more.

I suppose I just have one more question: Which is the better mother- Dani, Adele, Dani's mom....

Oh, wait- we haven't heard much from Dani's mom until now...
What happened to Scarlet? To Eve? To ....
OH BOY...

Well, wait one second...somebody just got killed and this isn't a good time to chat.
Will secrets become exposed? Will truths be revealed? Will forgiveness be dished out? Will the bird fly the cage?

When you drink do you keep an eye on that drink? Just curious?
Ladies, we've all been taught if you drink to take it with you, Right? ...

Keep that in mind and before I head out let me remind you that this ending is explosive and will simply leave you breathless and gasping..

Thank you Victoria Jenkins, Bookouture, and NetGalley who along with Amazon Kindle have provided this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

This is a MUST READ!
