Jessica Hamilton has provided this reading audio with plenty to grasp unto and take away from as these characters leap off every page followed up with narration that was splendidly enriched by the narrators voice.
June Bennett is a forty year old young woman who uncovers more than she bargained for when she learns her mother was anything but honest about her father's disappearance.
The mother claimed her dad abandoned his daughter but perhaps he was silenced permanently.
The truth as they often say can be blinding, hard to handle, and even harder to endure.
Sometimes nothing's left but the past and the past isn't worth saving as you don't ever want to go backwards in looking through the rear view mirror.
When things burn to the ground the only option left is to dust off, capture the memories, and move forward. Avril Island may have raised her. However, Avril Island has also set her free.
Shine on because the truth is that May is connected to this revolving door situation even upon her death via car accident. Yet, there's so much more to uncover in this story and the alarming rate at which it's presented couldn't be better.
Thank you to Jessica Hamilton, the pub (Dreamscape Media), NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
