Book Review: "I Can Say No" By Jenny Simmons

The power and meaning of the two letter word- NO!

Imagine in today's day and age not having the courage to say those two words. Even more difficult to bare is a young impressionable child who is fearful to say, "No" because of retaliation, further punishment, or loss of friendships.

This is a powerful children's book that addresses the need to speak out and say what you mean through a variety of avenues and channels.

Whether it's in discussion over dispelling fears, in regards to using a 'NO' club, or with refresher courses to be ok with being you - self love is crucial and must be enhanced.

We cannot be the shame, blame, or scapegoats. We must not be enablers. We must believe that we are chosen ones for a purpose in fulfilling our own unique destinies.

Toxic people recognize individuals who lack self control. Who feel isolated, alone, ashamed, or distraught. They will gravitate to that person for control and power over them.

Don't give away your own power.
Don't quit being you.

Don't ever dull your own shine.

Thank you to Jenny Simmons, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
