Book Review: "The ABC"s of Virtue" By Priya Kumari

A word of caution for the younger children this book I find would be difficult to handle even though it deals with the alphabet.

While being poetic was the game plan it seemed to miss the mark on the child friendly atmosphere.

I'm not an educator but a single mom, divorced, with three teens (eldest was medically disabled for life with speech/hearing/physical therapy needs).

What I found was words like Jovial, Dutiful, Valorous, Yogic (which as an adult I've never heard of this word used before), and or Zealous.

Now, when we discuss the letter 'X' we don't have a word for it so instead we put a word with the letter in it. For example: X is for 'Think out of the box'.

The pre-K and early elementary levels may have difficulty in comprehension and applying of this material.
