It's about a little boy named Henry who makes it a daily ritual to read books to chickens and hens. One day he plays with a toy instead of reading and the Red Hen gets upset and starts to make noise.It worked!
The chickens/hens receive the boys undivided attention and the next time he returns with a stack of books.
