So, here I stand once again in the unpopular opinion on a book that was filled with fluff.
I'm not sure where the editors have been but this was very drawn out and could've been much more appealing with much less.
In this case we eventually learn that 16 yo Penny is being charged with her natural birth mother's murder.
However, she suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder (DID).
We then go through a windy court process, therapy session, and the like to uncover the reason behind the death of Rachel.
As the case starts to settle and the smoke clears we see there's plenty behind the scenes of this one including blackmail.
While this book was a good read it wasn't something I'd read again because it was tedious, time consuming, and a strain on the brain.
Thank you to DJ Palmer, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
