Book Review: "Alice Fleck's Recipes For Disaster" By Rachelle Delaney

When cooking up a storm turns into a combat for survival of the fittest with revenge being served up!

YIKES!

This one began innocently enough with our 7th grader named Alice Fleck and her culinary father who enter into this cooking contest via his girlfriend Hana.

What could possibly go wrong?

SABOTAGED OVENS!

Ok, well lets try to calm down and figure out what is going on behind the scenes as Tom is one heck of a fierce judge and while Alice and her dad thought this would just be an easy cooking show the tide turns and they uncover there's much more behind the initial introduction and instructions.

Everything changed, the title of the show, the contestants, the judges, and even the comradery between the guests.

As another reviewer noted I too felt this was headed for a murder charge but luckily things weren't as hairy and or scary.

This is after all a children's book but this one did come with many unexpected surprises and twists.

Thank you to Rachelle, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
