Book Review: "Good Things Come To Those Who Wait" By Julia Cook

Good Things Come To Those Who Wait was a wonderful new book on patience and waiting your turn.

The storyline was written in a rhyming format which would make for an exciting read for the younger children in this genre of children's fiction, parenting, and self help.
What a wonderful world this would be if grown adults could head these lessons and learn them but it's often the children who must show us the way.
I'm not an educator but a single mom of three teens and this book with its vivid colors, stunning pictorial, and beautifully illustrated pages was a breath of fresh air.
Every now and then even parents need to unwind with a quick and easy read and this one fit the bill.
I'd highly recommend this to every parent, teacher, or school/public library as it was fun, educational, enlightening, and heartfelt.
Lately, we haven't had many books that showcase what it means to love unconditionally, to parent without strings attached, to allow children to form their own minds rather through guidance and through a level of understanding.
This captured the very essence of reaching those age old milestones in respect, understanding, compassion, dignity, perseverance, and patience. All of which are important in today's world.
Thank you to Julia Cook, IBPA, and Boys Town Press for this beautifully written and wonderfully illustrated piece.
