Book Review: Volcano: "Where Fire And Water Meet" By Mary Cerullo

This book is marked for grades 3-5 and ages 8-11 so please note this when reading.

Volcano: Where Fire and Water Meet was a detailed instructional book that discusses some very interesting locations in which volcanoes have formed and continue to erupt to present day.
One such location is on the island of Hawaii with Kilauea which is considered the most active volcano in the world. Kilauea has erupted according to this book continuously but gently, for thirty five years.

There's approximately 1,500 active volcanoes on our planet.

Loihi is one such volcano near Hawaii Island that is 3,200 feet below surface sea level.
It is quite the treat if you can visit the Hawaii Islands in person as I have back in the 80's with my entire family. To see such majestic beauty. The rebirth of the land. The hot molten lava that flows ever so slowly into the ocean and hardens right before your eyes was something I'll never forget.

Yes, this book explored many areas including Hawaiian Mythology with- Pele the Goddess of Lava- "She who shapes the sacred land" according to Wikipedia.

It was beautifully illustrated and easy to read with a ton of information to take away.
Thank you to Mary Cerullo, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
