Book Review: "Destroy Me" By Karen Cole

"Someone wants to make you pay."

Seventeen years later and a knock at the door leaves a woman desperately clinging to the last bit of soul searching she has left.

Imagine if you will detectives on on your doorstop to question your whereabouts after a grisly murder of a childhood friends whom you haven't seen for almost twenty years?
Talk about a hair raising experience all while trying to come across at innocent because the photo fit looks exactly like CAT!

Now, Cat has some explaining to do and perhaps she can begin with DAISY. You see the cover of this book illustrates some of what occurred that evening when she hit the 'deer' and damaged the vehicle under the influence of a substance (which is all I'm allowed to say.)

Now, Dylan isn't the best dad to their 5 yo. son Dylan but they are separated after his cheating ways with another teacher so whose to say what might come down the line in all this mess.
Catherine (CAT) Bayntun AKA Ophelia Black really has created quite the stir around town and it all comes back to one little girl, one yellow shoe, and one sad event that will forever haunt the lives of many.

This is a must read for 2021!

Thank you to Karen Cole, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
