Book Review: "The Good Neighbour" By RJ Parker

Holy Smokes! What the heck did I just get myself into on this deserted road and quaint little village?

OMG!

As a former rural resident I know all too well of the 'deer in the headlights' scenario but this one took it to an entirely new and freakish level on Valentine's day -no less!

Leah Talbot is heading back to Elliot her husband when she veers off course both literally and figuratively and has to seek assistance to get her back up to par.

Here comes the night in shining armor to save the day -Martin Tate- only he's more of a nightmare in disguise.

The female occupant of his home -Alice Booth- who turns up deceased -at this very residence upon Leah's return to thank the man.

Now, folks this one was a quick burn on both edges of the knife and thankfully this gal had some time on her hands to zip through this while waiting for my son at college. My only complaint is I couldn't swipe the kindle pages fast enough in that hour time slot.
I've never been more actively engaged and terrified all at once like this lovely and bloody brilliant work by Richard Jay Parker.

If you're looking for entertainment with so many twist and freakish/outlandish/stalkish behavior than by God you found it.

The Good Neighbour pub date was March 18th and the book gods tell me there's another new work coming down the pike in July. So keep your eyes and ears peeled and on full alert as you won't want to miss this author.

Thank you to RJ Parker, the publisher, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Now, go find what happened to Olivia, help the father out, and get back on board with your marriage.

The End!
