Book Review: "A Winning Betrayal" By Louise Guy

Imagine if you will striking it rich with millions in the lottery only to learn that it's not all it's cracked up to be.

The old adage -Be careful what you wish for comes to mind- as we encounter the trials and tribulations of Frankie and Shauna both lottery winners who meet up at the support group for lottery winners after deciding to split the earnings 50/50 of the 20 million windfall.

Frankie and her husband Tom literally and figuratively seem to barely get by living paycheck to paycheck while Shauna is single and ready to mingle and this could be her ticket to the outside world.

Note: Revised edition: Previously published as Fortunate Friends, this edition of A Winning Betrayal includes editorial revisions.

Therefore, keep in mind there's now only two not three main characters.

This was an interesting read about what the lottery means to different people and how it can change either way depending on one's moral compass.

Thank you to Louise Guy, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
