Book Review: "The House of Killers" By Samantha Lee Howe

Anna aka Neva is who she's become via the Network who are mostly handlers.

She's been taken since the age of five, conditioned, trained, and made into one you now see before you by a woman handler known as Tracey Herod.

Brainwashing, repetition, and drugs were used to conquer the goal of forgetting their past lives while creating a new dangerous line of work.

Could Neva have been Simone Arquette's daughter Amelie? Could addition parents be involved in the grooming of their own children?

Meanwhile, Michael is an agent with M15, recruited to this special task force called Archive, in which he'll used his knowledge, special training, and expertise to assist with cold cases.

Although, the intensity and the attraction seems to big to ignore and when things hit the fan it's all hands on deck-literally and figuratively between Michael and Neva.

Meeting the parents is a big deal and these two seem to getting to know each other well -perhaps- too well.

What if she turns on him? What if she kills him and or his parents?

Can you trust someone whose been through so much heartbreak, who doesn't possess empathy, who lacks emotion?

What if Michael shows the other side of himself? What side should we believe?

Can they get through this together?

A great new read that hits all the right spots.

Thank you to Samantha Lee Howe, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
