Book Review: "Tropic of Stupid" By Tim Dorsey

I'm not sure why I keep coming back to Tim Dorsey's books but there's always that lil bit of nostalgia, humor, grit, and gusto that I crave in the Floridian Style sour and sweet citrus kind of way.

Tropic of Stupid is quite the unique gamble that may or may not pay off depending on this viewpoint, "The meaning of life depends on the life in question. A good approximation is forty-two."

With this noted, I will add this from the author," Millions of Americans aren't happy unless they're unhappy."

We crazy happiness. We need a quick fix. We want a jolt of excitement.

Ok, well you get the idea but wait there's more...for just $19.99 plus s/h...Oh, wrong one.
Ok, well tell me another story and sit right down for a beer - but I don't drink.

Now, here we have multiple stories told throughout Florida tropics with some hit or miss writing.
The spring baseball camps was a trip along with the tourist being spotted at motels and rentals off the airports and being targeted. We all know you darn Yankee snowbirds.

Ok, but really this is one that you should add even if you don't have much time because it makes you think about life. The good, the bad, the ugly, and everything stupid in between.

Thank you to Bibliotheca for this copy via cloud library.
