Book Review: "Murder Girl" By Lisa Renee Jones

Murder Girl builds upon the first in this Lilah Love series with strength, determination, and will power.

The characters seem to become more infused with energy and stamina to go the distance. Each brings something to the table to discuss.

In this case, we uncover some of the pieces to the first puzzle in which the Mendez Cartel is out there on the prowl. They are responsible for the kidnapping of Lilah's own family member.

Her story builds upon the sexual assault on the beach, the buried memories (we shall say with her and Kane), and adds more complex situations. Kane still comes up as an Ass-Hat but that's just my personal opinion as he's abusive and lack luster in the alpha male category of men.

The overall modus operandi is to uncover the truth from where we left off with the dead Romano patriarch in the garage. He was in the process of providing her evidence/clues till he was silenced.

This time we learn that the notes are left behind from a 'stalker' who may or may not be named," Junior."

As the newest message- W is for warning- is very dark, disturbing, and enough of an alarm that it has everyone on edge.

Someone wants Society taken and it may or may not be centrally located around this Virgin Mary necklace.

There's evidence of several dead bodies but Junior may not be the only gamer in town.

The Assassin may be alive and well and looking for targets.

That's all I can offer up on this one but I'm off to read The Poet by Lisa Renee Jones so till we meet again. Have a great day!
