Ok, before I get too far ahead of myself we must note that these two gals have a competitive streak that's been a long time in coming. Just because they're now adults doesn't change the scenario and in fact it escalates to beyond these two and into their mutual friendships, lovers, spouses, relatives, and their closest inner circles.
Clair 'Mac' Woods has always played catch up to the wealthier more successful Gwendolyn Whitney. It's a relationship that's built upon lies and they've competed for fellowships and the undivided spotlight for years.

Which reminds me one of the highlights of my divorce was my marriage in the Cayman's. Ironically, Cayman's is known for more than being a duty free zone- wouldn't you say? -Mac??
