Rich! Dark! Deeply Disturbing! Explosive beyond words!

It felt like a master plan was finally set into place with greed, corruption, power, and control being the mastermind of it all.

But who would go to such lengths to obtain everything. The Joyner project seemed so wonderful. The university seemed to jump at the chance to open up new avenues.
You know money talks and BS walks and hey, who ever thought you could buy your way to the top?

I mean isn't that how these pay to play schemes work and isn't the Ponzi scheme nothing more than a rich guy at the top holding the bag?

Ok, before I get too far ahead of myself we must note that these two gals have a competitive streak that's been a long time in coming. Just because they're now adults doesn't change the scenario and in fact it escalates to beyond these two and into their mutual friendships, lovers, spouses, relatives, and their closest inner circles.

Clair 'Mac' Woods has always played catch up to the wealthier more successful Gwendolyn Whitney. It's a relationship that's built upon lies and they've competed for fellowships and the undivided spotlight for years.

Now, it's a story about pursuing academic glory but in a not so glorious and glamourous way. In fact it's quite deadly. But hey, who'll ever learn of the plot? It's hidden among the various meandering ways.

Lily- girl I see you- and I'm so sorry that you had to endure a 'fraud claim' because of one greedy bastard. Social Security has caught on and stopped your payments but be not afraid there's light at the end of this awkward tunnel. After all it's in the planning stages and it's continuing to propel forward.

Which reminds me one of the highlights of my divorce was my marriage in the Cayman's. Ironically, Cayman's is known for more than being a duty free zone- wouldn't you say? -Mac??
So, let's get down to biz- The Dark Horse rides again-and this time the motto = "Freedom's always expensive."

Mac must go and process this and she's highly suspicious that her mother may be pocketing the funds improperly.

Amy Gentry pulled out the thriller of the year with this one! Plenty of wheeling and dealing between these ladies.
