Book Review: "Remember" By Lisa Genova

An interesting field of study for a neuroscientist from HARVARD as Lisa Genovo creates a 'MEMORABLE" new novel entitled simply," Remember."

Now, what was it that I was just saying...

Oh, you know-we've all had those days and they only get worse as we age but do they have too? Can we not take a pill, create a new gateway path, forge a new line of thought process to actively engage our brain cells to heal the old and bring on the new?

Surely, we all heard about eating our fruits, veggies, finish the crosswords, complete those memory technique devices like the good ol ROYGBIV (word sequences) to boost our memory since elementary school age but what if we can continue that journey into adult and strengthen the mind, body, and soul.

Whose the guinea pig now you're asking....

This was a great addition to much held previously beliefs that stress, anxiety, abuse, trauma yet, it added a clear concise definition for those hitting the milestones wondering if their losing their minds or is it just age related cognitive issues. If you misplace something that's normal. If you completely put it in the refrigerator than you might have an issue. Yes, I've done the refrigerator deal already when I meant to put it in the cupboard.

Could Alzheimer's, Dementia, and concussions be more closely examined for future advancements and will this be the catch all or is their more to come? Could repetitive movement be the key?

It's a question that many of us reaching those golden years think of daily as we ponder the meaning of forgetfulness while praying for a miracle in remembrance.

A good solid read when you're in the mood for a solid informational piece.
