Book Review: "Later" By Stephen King

Tell me who your daddy is...

Good gravy, I'm not a huge fan but this one was a bit whacked from the start.
It feels like being led to the slaughter house on the farm without much thought process actively engaged and for me I like the old school King work as he can spin a tale deeper and darker than anyone in the genre.

Yet, this one just felt ok but nothing really stuck out that would give me the WOW factored response.

Later is really just that literally and figuratively with Jamie a boy who seems to love his mother but is at the cross roads of claiming to see dead people.

He's also on the verge of uncovering that his mom wasn't who he thought she was and Uncle Harry has one hell of a wild story to tell on the side lines of this plot.
Turn the darn lights on already and lets get cooking...takes on a whole new meaning in this one.
Talk to those ghosts son and tell them what you want in order to finish this best seller and don't leave no stone unturned.

When the mom's girlfriend aka detective uncovers the truths she too gets tossed to the curb because Oxy is practically this gal's middle name and mom tosses that crap out.
Who could blame the woman. She has a young teenager whose embarking on his own venturing of the world.

Stop - Thumper! Lol...

Ok, I've got to run. Till we meet again.

Bombs are going off like the Fourth of July.
Later...
