Book Review: "Unthinkable" By Brad Parks

What if you could see into the future?

Would you care if you had certain powers, abilities, guides, and intuition?

Would you utilize your position of power to get ahead?

Would you want to know the predetermined status?

Nate and Jenny seem to have it all until it's quickly altered in a life shattering format that will bring good vs. evil in a battle of wits and legalities to light.

Everything centers upon Nate whose been kidnapped by these powerful forces led by their leader of this cult named Vanslow DeGrange to this mansion.

What many aren't aware of is this agreement behind the scenes that centers around this energy plant that has created a whole host of problems for nearby locals.

While this plays out we have a ton of concentration on the fact of Jenny's career and Nate's stay at home dad status which weighs heavily in the latter portion of this book.

As it turns out this nutcase of a leader believes that the end is near and has taken Nate hoping to stop the madness surrounding this Praesidium logo and it's people marked by the words," PR" upon them.

The fact that Nate isn't the only one that might be kidnapped is a harrowing experience and the entire family is on guard.

There's plenty of emotional appeal and a focus upon what to do with your assets and possessions once you're gone.

Beyond this, I can't state too much as it's a sworn secrecy but I will note that this was entertaining and enjoyable but at times it seemed to sway off the beaten path.

You can never go wrong with a Brad Parks book as he always brings things to a new level of insight and intrigue and ties it in rather nicely with current events.

Thank you to Brad Parks, Amazon Pub (Thomas and Mercer), NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
