Book Review: "Let Her Lie" By Bryan Reardon

For those who were born in the 70's you may never look at yellow neon Sony Walkman's the same way after the Halo Killer had his day.

Unfortunately, for me this wasn't much of a thriller but more of a crime novel in which we find ourselves being led through this maze of questions and answers via a documentary that was brought on by Theo Snyder.

Theo had success with his first documentary on, The Basement, as is now hoping to meet up with Jasper -the Halo Killer- to get his side of the story while in prison.

Everything that happens in between is a bit of a frenzied mess and is rather alarming as well as confusing and I'm not sure the point of it all.

What I can say is that there's a Miracle Baby who learns of her DNA through ancestry analysis while she herself is pregnant. This miracle baby recalls past memories about her mother and reads these left over articles so she's soaking it up like a sponge and it's taking a toll on her emotions including her relationship with the father of her baby- Eddy.

Sadly, this young lady was left for dead in a bathroom sink after her mother was murdered.

As if this wasn't bizarre enough readers are then going through this back and forth saga in which the Halo Killer escapes from prison and he may have had help.

Who would want this man out in public among us?

Investigator Zora Monroe was also present helping to find missing people.

All in all it was ok but nothing that was mind blowing.
