Book Review: "We Could Be Heroes" By Mike Chen

One is a 'Mind Robber' while the other is a 'Throwing Star' meeting up at a memory loss & detention center to make nice friends.

One of them wants to fly away to the Caribbean with his cat while the other wants to simply learn about her past.

As if this isn't quirky enough throw in some robberies with memory loss for his Caribbean slush fund (retirement) while the other is a bully of sorts beating up people with her super hero powers for the fun of it all.

He's got this crazy cat that's anything but Normal yet that's the name of the animal. While she's dealing with alcohol issues.

So while the heck not become super heroes?
Uhmm.... Ok?! I think?!

Oh, wait there's more because Zoe is a Asian American with amnesia serving the food industry while Jamie is our lone British-American Bank Robber suffering from the same.

Neither, really did much for me other than to tag along with the storyline.

In a nut shell it's about being present, staying authentic, and trusting your heart strings in this newest work in which we're all equally flawed and insecure.
