Book Review: "The Cookbook Club" By Beth Harbison

All's fair in love and war!

The Cookbook Club has arrived to showcase not just women's friendships but also the advancement of both genders, the dream of opening your own restaurant or renovating a home, the relationship & traditions between food &family, plus the rollercoaster of feelings coming & going. In the end change is needed, often warranted, and sometimes imposed.

What an interesting read beginning with Trista leaving her legal career in order to branch out to bigger things. Aja uncovering a pregnancy with some heavy attraction to Michael.

However, Margo is my gal who gets left with a fixer-upper of a parting gift from divorcing Calvin. Will she fix it up and invest or will someone else invest in her or both?

Will romance mix with cake?

Will this Cookbook Club entice non-cooks to join in on the fun?

It's a fun, charming, and honest read that was a nice retreat from the thriller genre for the day.

Thank you to my local library for this copy.
