Book Review: "The Lies You Told" By Harriet Tyce

Hands down one of the best thrillers I've read this year!

If there's ever a book to describe helicopter moms, PTA nightmares, and disastrous encounters between parents and elite schools this is the one.

The Lies You Told illustrates just how far parents will go to 'make the grade' and if their kids can't get it down they'll die trying to do it for them.

However, Sadie didn't know what she was stepping into upon relocating to London after picking up the pieces from her fractured life. Placing Robin (daughter) into a good school was top priority above all else including her career endeavors.

Sadie's legal career also picks up steam upon becoming engaged in protecting Jeremy from allegations that turns the tables and results in so much high profile drama.
Danger lurks around every corner!

The intensity is so bold, so daring, and so bloody brilliant!
Year 4 is nothing like I remember as they say across the pond from the states.
Scandals! Betrayals! Murderous plots! YIKES!!

My knees are pounding together as this explosive new piece will have you wondering if that PTA is worth joining!!

I'm not so sure I'll ever look at 'making the grade' ever the same?

In fact, I had a situation just this year in 8th grade in which the kids in my daughters class were told about plagiarism and cheating using google searches.

I later uncovered that jealousy is rampant and people whose children are not on the honor roll will do just about anything to lash out against those who have been on the honors programs since its origin began in year 6 as they say in London.

Therefore, be mindful! Watch your back! For god's sake read this with the lights on and dead robin's, dark and compelling plots, thrilling and chilling actions are coming your way.

Duck, hide, and never go near anything that is meant to stay a 'SECRET' but if you are curious and find your way you may want to bring a strong mind and a will to survive as the lies are piling up!
