Book Review: "Ten Lessons For A Post Pandemic World" By Fareed Zakaria

A thoughtful, empathetic, compassionate read!

Ten Lessons for a Post-Pandemic World is not preachy. It's a clear cut and precise look at what went wrong, how we can improve, the corrections needed, and the hope presented for the future.

With so much at stake it's not surprising books like this will be shelved but this one stands out among the rest as the BEST!

The reasoning is because while other books choose to blame, shame, discredit, or disprove this one focuses on concrete assessments and practical approaches to change that must be implemented if we are to be successful.

Choosing the top candidates to represent the nation, utilizing not just transparency but common sense, focusing not on quantity but QUALITY, Power play scenarios, money as power, global unity, trade and governmental actions, and so much more.

How the world views us, how we treat others, how we respond to criticisms, how we work together for the betterment of all is at stake.

While you could approach the discussion in viewing China, Germany, France, or other countries as outperforming you must dissect the numbers because stats can be read many ways.

The USA hasn't fallen behind so far that we can't catch up but we do need proper leadership, funding, and action and we need it NOW!

We cannot wait. We must act.

As for the economic turmoil that follows the author provides this: The American dream is alive and well, just not in America.

I've absolutely enjoyed this read as it was truly insightful, well written, informative, and fair.

This was another great curbside pickup marathon read.
Please support your local libraries during this pandemic.
