Book Review: "The Girl In The Missing Poster" By Barbara Copperthwaite

One sister is missing! Another is in jeopardy! A family torn apart!

What is going on here?

How could a 50th birthday result in such devastation?

Where is Leila? What happened to her all those years ago?

Twenty five years have passed and there's nothing to go on per evidence.

All we have is a documentary? A journalist named Euan? A twin sister feeling the pain?
Why did her sister switch into Stella's red coat before departing?

So many unanswered questions that build suspense to the point of hitting the breaking point.
Someone has to have heard or seen something...
Ahhh. BREATH!

Here comes the sun and the emails too!
Wait, what?? Emails?? From a man claiming to be a 'Dear Friend?'
WTF?

Who is sick enough to send emails discussing her twin sisters disappearance after all this time?

Across the globe it's no secret that those who perpetuate crimes against women are often those closest to them.

Could this be the case here?

Is it someone close to both girls or just one?
Could Ryan (Stella's ex) know more than he's letting on?
What about the family? The parents? The sisters friend Euan?
The sisters were extremely close but could someone or something have come between them? Is DNA part of the story?

OMG!

What? The parents...what????
Who is Mary? Joe?
Suicide? Really? NOT!

How is this possible to have more than one person go missing in the same family?
Wait....a car ...submerged...

What on Earth is happening??
What if those emails from 'Dear Friend' have something to do with this aftermath?
Could the police be closing in, could the pressure be too much, could the killer be closer than they realize?

OMG! My heart...It's pounding..The suspense is mind blowing!
Wait--Breaking News...

One is found, two are found, one is dead?! What about ....

Thankfully this family invested in self defense courses so might that be the 'meal ticket' ....
Oh, boy watch ahead, behind, and all around you...CPR? Why? What happened to her?
Luckily the twin had cameras set up to monitor the dogs for training purposes as they might just become useful or not but either way it's a win. Right?

I hope but folks this is bloody brilliant and I can't stress the fact that I was on edge the entire time.

It's written extremely well with plots that seem so obvious until they're not.
After all we have to have a funeral for the person who passed and with everything going down at once I'm not sure that's a good idea to have it open to the public at this time. Or is it?
YIKES!

Affairs of the heart- the mind-the body!
This was solid thrills!

I hope you enjoy this review as I'm thrilled to have received this ARC via Bookouture at Netgalley.

Thank you so much Barbara Cooperthwaite for this e-read in exchange for this honest review.
I'm truly looking forward to reading what's next!
