Book Review: "Three Missing Days" By Colleen Coble

A shocking murder. A parent's worst nightmare. A reality shocker reverberating within the family walls.

Could Jane and Reid's son be guilty of manslaughter?

What went on that horrific night of the house fire that killed a local woman and left a firefighter succumbing to his injuries?

In fact, Will may find that someone is trying to frame him and his parents may be the only ones fighting for his freedom.

Gail the woman who passed away seems to have a checkered past involving drug sales and falsification of test results.

However, who would kill someone for this evidence and will Jane be able to uncover more seedy layers to this bitter onion?

Did Lauren (Will's Ex) also know this woman Gail Briscoe? Could they have some sort of legal connection? Could there be something far more sinister such as the atmospheric tension of threats, intimidation, or blackmail?

Paying for silence may be en route but it doesn't have to be the end? OR does it?
As we join the journey with Colleen Coble leading the way we learn that Lauren had a secret in her life. A counterpart that may be crucial.
We also uncover a man named Edward who may need to be investigated and or interrogated.
The tension escalates quickly, the evidence comes in abruptly, and the list of suspects grows exponentially.

Through it all we're led on a maze throughout the past, present, and the future with a family that is anything but perfect.

However, the ending was special indeed with love from all sides coming forth and prospering.
It made the effort that more special and unique in remembrance as we find that family isn't always blood, it may not be perfect, it may be deadly, it may hold secrets, but it is always worth saving at least parts of the whole entity.

Thank You to Colleen Coble as I've enjoyed all three of the Pelican Harbor series and I look forward to seeing what comes next for this author.
