Book Review: "Deadly Cross" By James Patterson

You've waited long enough! I'm proud to say, "James Patterson" is back!

This was one of the best if not the best of his novels that I've read lately. As an avid fan of his work I'm certain this one ranks up there.

It was timely, it was actively engaging, it was masterful and well crafted, and it was dramatic with a flair!

Deadly Cross wasn't just your typical kidnapping, affairs, cheap tricks, and dangerous individuals.

The fact that a serial killer might be on the loose was damning but those facts didn't arrive till the last 50 pages.

What was captivating was the thrill of the chase, the tag-alongs, and the pleasure seeking adrenaline rushes around every corner of this deeply disturbing plot.

The twists were plentiful and the action was non-stop thrilling!

When the Vice President uncovers his wife shot to death while having an affair-it didn't make for a great day in the office.

Both parties were married and both families suffered the reverberations of their actions! The multiple challenges law enforcement faced was fascinating. The legal proceedings and the various legal challenges presented came with plenty of hidden motives.

It seemed that nearly everyone involved had a reason to hide.

Secrets began extending out of the woodwork with numerous suspects under fire.

Breaking News: One of the victims may have been having mental issues and been kept in a psych ward.

Oh-what lovely hell - are we now encountering?!

Surely, someone won't be afraid to tell the truth in an era built on lies. After all this is the current when fake news is rampant and transparency is a thing of the past.

We need answers before someone gets killed---oh wait!

Breaking News! Another one found dead.

Oh for the love ...

Perhaps pleading the 5th won't make or break you>But it may lead to further investigations.

Could this be an inside job? Was someone framed ?

You know they always say in criminal justices courses to watch actions not words. What if their MO is on full display here? What if someone knows more than they are telling.

What if that person is somehow related?

Conspiracies are rampant so too is trying to hold up a business during a pandemic.

What's up with this cleaning service anyway?

Whose house, Run's house... Love Run DMC-but his gives it an entirely knew meaning to ponder.

Hopefully, the killer will be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Oh, wait -Girls have been kidnapped. Three go missing. They are related to this active case.

OH- Shiite-Twin girls?!

Love is splendid -isn't it?

But what if love was denied? What if someone has a grudge? What if you're being followed or worse a hitman was hired to take you out?

Now, this isn't going to end well -or is it?

Stay tuned as James brings it to you in a coffin.

No matter how they try to silence you -always remember -Love wins!
