Book Review: "The Newlyweds" By Arianne Richmonde

When you're on the verge of divorce- believe in -till death do us part- and uncover your in laws aren't all their cracked up to be...

Geeze Louise! The Newlyweds was all over the place right from the gate.
We start the mental games with Vivien and Ashton as newlyweds and fly back and forth in their tumultuous marriage.

As the stars and stripes come to light we see the darkness that was virtually inevitable taking shape. From the harsh rhetoric between this couple, to the damaging allegations of abuse, to the leading revolt from their daughter Cady.

The relationship turns over when we learn of the earlier dating years and her pregnancy at 17 while Ashton the powerful and wealthy successful leader and holder of the Bahama homestead was anything but kind at 22 years.

We fast forward to plenty of drama, guilt trips, shame, blame, and lord knows a sister Lily who seemed all but gone until she reappeared for an outing on the water.
That family outing turned into a nightmare.

Going down with the ship is just one way to take it but in the end many of them bailed ship or shall we say kept silent to the reality.

Meanwhile Ashton's mother also plays a central and key role in the tail end as many thought she had paranoia, dementia, and Alzheimer's but she may just have seen her family w/o their masks.

A fancy yet tricky read that will keep you guessing all the way till the end.
Numerous twists and turns , splendid writing, powerful players, and characters that will fulfill every thrill.

Thank you to Arianne, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
