Book Review: "The Wrong Family" By Tarryn Fisher

Everyone's holding out on their secrets for the right time to drop!

The Wrong Family is one of those books you love to hate with characters that will drive you bananas.

First off what's up with Juno - moving into a family's home- retired therapist-seeking peace? What the hell is she thinking would happen? They'd cozy up and eat bon-bons all day?

The next up is Winnie and her god awful cheating Nigel for a spouse with son Samuel.

Although truth be told there's plenty of secrets in this bunch with everything from a homeless woman giving birth to a relationship with someone else to murder or was it suicide?

Look, I'm not one to release too much info otherwise what's the point of a review if not to entice readers or sway opinion but this one wasn't fulfilling enough for my taste.

If you follow my reviews (thank you) and for those who do you know that I need thrills and chills not dumps and frumps.

This was the latter with very little excitement to peak my interest but it was short, quick, and had some twists that you could figure out with a 'lifetime of deadly secrets' as they say in the write-up.

"Let the dead deal with the dead." Gosh, Dakota was quite the loose canon but remember mental illness, social injustices, and social issues need a platform. The author gives them that spotlight by adding a face to the problems in essence bringing those concerns to light!
