Book Review: "You Have A Match" By Emma Lord

Cute! Hopeful! Heart-Warming! Entertaining! A story about friendship, love, and finding your true identity!

Surely, if you're here just for the romance you may be sadly mistaken as there's not a whole heck of a storyline but some sizzles do exist with several revelations, numerous unanswered adoption questions, &even more questions concern the past history of several main characters.

Summer Camp is not the most ideal place to get to know a stranger much less a long lost sister that you just uncovered via DNA testing that she's the newest member of the family.
So, why would they compare who is the better sister? Why challenge memories? Why not just accept the results?

Good question!

The one part of this I didn't indulge in fully was just that question- Why go through all this trouble rather than simply ask the parents in the first place?

When you're adopted I'm sure it's not easy wondering were you loved, why you were placed in an alternative location, what was the history and most importantly genetics and or medical concerns that may enter the picture.

The interaction between Leo and Abby was like a cat and mouse. He seemed not the least bit interested while she ran around hoping for a relationship but acting disinterested.
What's worth noting is the reasoning for the DNA initially was on behalf of Leo as a sign of moral support as he too is adopted. By the way, Leo was already a member at this camp, Savvy was pondering the idea working as a counselor, and Abby was on board with the entire camp idea.

Imagine then that everything seems now in a state of constant movement with no true compass to direct them North.

It was quite a feat to tackle in getting everyone moving in one direction-much like juggling balls up in the air-but somehow this one came together in the end with a happier conclusion.
I've not read and work by this author but I wouldn't mind checking them out having read this newest work.

Thank you to Emma Lord, the pub, NetGalley, Amazon Kindle and all those who had a hand in getting me this advanced copy in exchange for this review.
